Seventy-two (72) Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano Campers:
YOUR Chamber Music Camp is ready to start on August 8 !!!!

"Camp Faculty Concert" is on Thurs August 11, 4 to 5 pm at Krasa Center, Benedictine University.

Campers "Listen to Our Children Concert" is on Friday August 12, 7 to 9 pm at Krasa Center.

"Youth Chamber Music Marathon" is at 2 pm on August 21 in Naperville Downtown's Riverwalk.
This concert is supported partially by a grant from the City of Naperville. Admissions are free.

OPUS is a charitable (IRS 501 c 3), not-for-profit organization that actively supports and promotes the orchestra activities in the Naperville District 203 schools.

OPUS Mission
OPUS is formed for the purpose of stimulating and encouraging students' interest in the orchestra program. OPUS members consist of parents, guardians, and patrons of Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and neighboring community elementary, junior high, and high school orchestra students.
OPUS has the following goals and projects:
  • Seeking a niche for youngsters to select and enjoy string instruments and orchestral music (e.g. Invited Symphony, Chamber, Quartet, & Workshops)
  • Stimulating students' interest through recognition for achievements and participation (e.g., Certificates, Awards).
  • Supporting student's advancement in music study through scholarships (e.g., to Summer Music Camp).
  • Working closely with District's orchestra directors to improve curriculum (e.g., The Year 2000 White Paper).
  • Increasing exchange of small group and large ensemble performances in the community within and outside schools (e.g., Practice Partners Program, East Meets West Music Arts group).
  • Your membership for one academic year -

  • ALLEGRO: $25/year Family Membership for Active Members (w/Priorities & Board privilege)
